About Me

I'm an Editor, Director, Producer, and Writer with over 8 years of editorial and documentary experience in both digital and broadcast video.

Currently, I’m a Staff Video Editor with PeopleTV’s daily show People Now, cutting 11-minute news and entertainment features that reach nearly 12 million U.S. households, via Meredith’s broadcast affiliates. Previously for PeopleTV, I edited the Jess Cagle Interview and Coming Out series, and shot, produced and edited the Story Behind the Story series.

After attending Regis High School in Manhattan, I did my B.A. in Film at Oberlin College, where I booked & produced concerts as part of the Student Union’s Programming Committee. I also served as Editor-in-Chief of The Grape, Oberlin’s alternative student newspaper. After graduating in 2008, I returned to NY to work in television and film production.

After freelancing for a couple years, I employed the social media acumen that I gained promoting live performances as Vedere.com’s Social Media Manager, producing and editing video campaigns for an fine art e-commerce platform. I also began freelancing on commercial and fashion shoots with fashion photographers Joseph Cartwright and Mister Lynch, where I gained extensive experience sound mixing, shooting and editing for clients on location.

In 2011, I moved into the world of reality television, where I apprenticed as an Avid Assistant Editor under seasoned TV editors and producers on shows like Southern Charm and Catching Hell.  I would continue to successfully work in reality TV as an Assistant Editor through April 2014, when I started at Conde Nast Entertainment as an editor.

While at Conde Nast Entertainment, I edited fashion and beauty YouTube series for Teen Vogue, sports and culture videos for GQ, and food content for Bon Appetit. I developed my skills in production sound and camera working on studio and field shoots for GQ, Wired, and Teen Vogue. Later at CNE, I used my social media skills to collaborate with the social team and edit social versions of all video content from CNE brands like Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, as well as creating gifs and memes for social.

In November 2015, I helped found the PeopleTV’s Newsdesk Team, where I produced, shot and edited interviews with People Crime, Music, TV, and Film editors about stories of the day. I also wrote, shot and edited breaking news videos optimized for digital and social. In 2016, I became a Staff Editor and began editing 11-minute series including The Jess Cagle Interview, interviews with celebrities by People’s Editorial Director, and Coming Out Stories, 3-5 minute documentaries chronicling the coming out stories of LGBTQ celebrities like Jason Collins and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

When I’m not working I enjoy cycling, traveling, reading, and homebrewing.
